Journey to Zermatt
By car
Zermatt is a car-free village. You may only drive up to Täsch (5 km from Zermatt). In Täsch you will find covered car parks (some also offer 24 hours transfer to Zermatt).
The “Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn” shuttles run every 20 minutes.
By train
Direct connections by train:
- from Zürich & Basel: 3 hours
- from Bern: 2 hours
- from Geneva: 4 hours
Zermatt is also the terminus station of the world famous Glacier Express.

- Free pick up service from 8:00am until 8:00pm
- 10 minute walk to the ski lifts
- 2 minute walk to the next bus stop
